Containers Inc., incorporated July 25th, 1964, is the parent company of both A. Barr Sales and A. Barr Simpson.

A. Barr Sales is located in Lemont, Illinois, and is both a distributor and manufacturer of fountain soda products, such as Royal Crown Cola, Diet Rite Cola, Nehi Flavors, Red Parrot brand juices, Raven Energy Drink, Chilly Willee Soft Ice, several private label flavors, as well as Carbon Dioxide, Helium, Nitrogen, and Mixed Gas.

Bernie and Marilyn Barc, the founders of Containers Inc., retired in 2003. Tom Barc now continues in Bernie and Marilyn’s footsteps in building a company with hard work and integrity. Tom is active in the daily management of his companies. He appreciates even A Barr’s smallest customer, as they have helped contribute to A. Barr’s success, just as Tom hopes that A. Barr can help contribute to theirs.
